Grimaldi Forum : logo du 25e anniversaire

Presented throughout the summer of 2012 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, the exhibition "Extra Large" offered visitors a tangible experience of monumentality through some forty of the most oversized works in the Centre Pompidou's collection. In 2025, the Grimaldi Forum renews its partnership with the Centre, this time offering a true immersion in color—both visual and synesthetic.

The venue

Easily recognizable by its spectacular glass and steel design, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (GFM) is the Principality’s Conference and Cultural Center. Inaugurated in 2000, it reflects Prince Rainier III's ambition to establish Monaco as one of Europe’s premier business tourism destinations and a major cultural hub. On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the venue is being expanded with a new wing designed by architects Alexandre Giraldi and Patrick Raymond.

With a modular surface area of 41,000 m² reclaimed from the sea, this exceptional venue, located in a unique destination, hosts an average of 100 events and welcomes 300,000 visitors per year.

As an exceptional stage for cultural programming based on three main pillars—exhibitions, music, and dance—the Grimaldi Forum Monaco notably produces a major thematic exhibition every summer, dedicated to a major artistic movement, heritage theme, or civilization, in collaboration with the world’s leading cultural institutions.
